Please take a moment to read about the Social Signals study below
This study you just completed was built to measure your speed and accuracy in processing social information.
You first completed questionnaires on social and emotional strengths and weaknesses, that are often used to study conditions like Autism.
This was followed by a series of tasks which serve as a more objective way to measure social-emotional processing ability. These, once again, are widely used to study the psychological processes underlying conditions like Autism and related conditions.
Your participation therefore has potential to inform understanding of such conditions.
If you have (or think you have) a diagnosis of Autism and wish to participate in further studies, you can get in contact with the researchers, Lucy Livingston (lucy.livingston@kcl.ac.uk) and Punit Shah (p.shah@bath.ac.uk) who are leading this investigation.
